[Discussion Meeting Between China Smart Lock Industry Delegation and CSLP]
During the discussion meeting, Lu Jiying, full-time vice president of the China Hardware Products Association and Secretary-General of the Lock Division, stated that with the rapid rise of the smart lock industry, many companies are entering the market to share the 鈥渂ig cake.鈥 However, this has exposed a series of problems in the market, such as chaotic product pricing and a lack of guiding standards, which have led to confusion and distrust among consumers regarding smart lock products. Therefore, there is an urgent need to purify the smart lock market and improve the industry, which is one of the main purposes of this inspection trip. Additionally, this visit aims to gain deeper insights into production and manufacturing technologies for smart locks, promote excellent benchmark smart lock companies like CSLP, accelerate technological upgrades in the Chinese smart lock industry, and assist companies in expanding their domestic and international sales channels, raising awareness and understanding of the smart lock industry, and driving its better development.

CSLP founder Zhang Baoqiang shared during the meeting that the CSLP China Smart Lock Sharing Industry Platform, backed by the 15 years of professional accumulation of its parent company, Xi鈥檃n Huijing, is armed with strong technology R&D and production capabilities, enabling it to drive transformation and market expansion in the smart lock industry. CSLP partners will not only enjoy technology and industrial resources but also have opportunities to connect with other partners and industrial segments, significantly reducing the entry threshold and opportunity costs for cross-industry enterprises entering the smart lock market. CSLP is akin to an arms factory and arsenal for the smart lock industry, potentially giving rise to a group of leading companies in niche markets, and aims to become a top-tier full-process service provider in the international smart lock sector.
At the same time, Zhang Baoqiang suggested that while the smart lock industry may seem bustling and rapidly developing, with a flood of companies competing for the 鈥渂ig cake,鈥 it is a double-edged sword. On one hand, the influx of players promotes industry growth and diversity, accelerating the prevalence of smart locks; on the other hand, as the market is still 鈥測oung,鈥 it is entering a reshuffling phase, where excessive competition may lead to consumer misconceptions, which would be detrimental to the industry鈥檚 development. He hopes that smart lock companies, industry associations, and major media can convey positive energy in the industry, guide correct consumer understanding, and comprehensively lead the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
Zhang Baoqiang believes that the development of the smart lock industry is not merely a matter of being on the 鈥渨indfall鈥 and simply getting in to 鈥渢ake off.鈥 In fact, the rise of the smart lock industry, driven by consumer upgrades, is inevitable and has long-term promise. However, the market is expected to show a slow, steady trend over the next two to three years, with significant time and costs needed to cultivate the consumer market. Additionally, the smart lock industry has the characteristics of a weak industrial chain, a long technology chain, a wide variety of products, and high stability and reliability requirements, and is a sector that relies heavily on installation and service. Therefore, for smart lock companies to survive and secure a position in this competitive environment, they need to take time to cultivate their core competencies and be prepared for a long-term effort.
