On August 8, Shen Bing, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Institute of Land Development and Regional Economy, led a research team consisting of Lu Wei, head of the Third Division for Regional Strategy Research of the NDRC Institute of Land Development and Regional Economy, and Dr. Zhao Bin, from the same institute. They were accompanied by a research team from the Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau, who came to the China Smart Lock Sharing Industry Platform (hereinafter referred to as CSLP) for an inspection and research visit. The visit was accompanied by Liang Rongjia, Party Secretary of Xiaolan Town, and Zheng Yanting, Deputy Party Secretary of Xiaolan Town, as well as leaders from the Xiaolan Town Economic Development and Science and Technology Information Bureau.
CSLP warmly welcomed the research team from the NDRC, the Party Secretary of Xiaolan Town, and the leaders from the Economic and Information Bureau. During the inspection, Director Shen Bing and his team first listened to a report from CSLP founder Zhang Baoqiang on the operational model and development status of the smart lock sharing industry platform. The report focused on the development of the industry, the planning and construction of the platform, and the direction of high-end industrial cluster development. Director Shen highly praised CSLP鈥檚 platform model, which leverages the advantages of industrial clusters to aggregate resources and promote collaborative sharing.
Following this, the Marketing Director, Lu Qiang, provided a detailed introduction to the overall development of CSLP鈥檚 marketing strategy, smart lock design and development, manufacturing, and the integration of smart home and IoT applications, as well as the future development direction.
According to statistics, Xiaolan Town, as the base of China鈥檚 smart lock industry, has over 180 smart lock manufacturers and more than 5,300 supporting industry enterprises, with an industry value scale exceeding 10 billion yuan. It is a significant smart lock industry cluster with considerable influence in the industry. Lu Qiang believes that, as a gateway product for smart homes, smart locks will experience explosive growth after several years of market cultivation. By creating the CSLP platform, Mansheng has gained a head start in the rapid development of the smart lock industry. In addition to accelerating the development of the smart lock industry, CSLP will also evolve towards smart security and smart home directions, leveraging its cloud service platform, shared manufacturing platform, and project incubation platform to ultimately build a comprehensive smart home IoT ecosystem.
The NDRC research team and town leaders placed great emphasis on the planning and construction of high-end industrial clusters and the innovative development of corporate industrial structures. They highly evaluated CSLP鈥檚 commitment to the principles of 鈥渙penness, sharing, empowerment, and boundary-breaking.鈥 CSLP shares industry resources and empowers and supports enterprises in multiple dimensions, including research and development, production, and after-sales services, driving the high-end cluster development of the smart lock industry in Xiaolan Town.
The visit by the leaders of the NDRC research team to CSLP for inspection and guidance is a significant endorsement of CSLP鈥檚 achievements. CSLP will actively respond to national policies, fully leverage the unique advantages of the CSLP smart lock sharing industry platform in the development of the Xiaolan hardware industry, and share the successful experience of innovative development of smart lock enterprises with everyone.
